Week old duckling is weak and shakey.

Possibly failing if everything else is correct. She eats and drink on its own good?..A bit of Sugar water helps. Wet soupy feed?..
I think she failed due to developmental issues, caused by an incubator. I know it sounds dramatic, butI emailed the makers of the incubator and they can't issue a refund because I've a.) Used the incubator and it cannot be returned and b.)it's been over 30 days. I found myself constantly adjusting it to keep it at 99.5 degrees, (it would never be the temp I set it to, because I had others thermometers in there for back up after reading reviews.) and when it spiked in temp, it just caused entirely too much damage. It's heartbreaking.

That's terrible. Why they won't refund is crazy.. you don't know it's defective until you use it. I use a Hovabator 1588 and it's fantastic. That's terrible..

I bought the Little Giant stryofoam bator, and the seperate auto turner attachment and so far so good! I set it up and waited almost 5 days to see if I could trust it. The temp always stayed the same, and if it was a tad too low the heater kicked on, and if it was a tad too high, the fan kicked on. I'm pretty excited to have a hatch a healthy clutch. I thought I was doing something wrong because of the incubator, but from all the opinions I'm getting, I don't think it was anything I did. It's still a sad learning experience.
