Weird Beak

Sjshaw1980 thanks for asking. We seemed to survive quite well. About 22-24 inches but not much blowing so no big drifts. DH snowblower and shovel made a nice path to my coop that is raised 2 feet off the ground. Tonight when I went out to check on the chickens they were all ok no sign of snow blowing into the coop. I have a shed roof with a 1 foot overhang on all sides and hardware cloth covering the openings. It worked just as I had hoped plenty of ventilation but no snow got in. I put out treats for tomorrow. We still have to shovel out the rooster coop but they have plenty of water and pellets and can come in and out into their predator proof run so they should be ok until tomorrow. I feel bad for those along the coast that had so much more to contend with than we did. Those of you down where sandy did so much damage and then this on top of it seems too much. Thanks again for asking.
