Weird e-mails from customer service @ eggbid e-mail?

I've gotten two e-mails also....

Just delete them... whoever it is has managed to get the mailing list from eggbid and is phishing. I just blocked the sender as spam and they all go to junk mail, now. (I got two today)

Even so....that "scares" me that a "reputable business" has their customers e-mails so "unsafely" guarded that someone can get all of them like that.

I'm just grateful it was "just" an e-mail that they stole and not (hopefully) more than that. I am not panicked because it is just eggbid, but if it were a company with more of my information...yeah, I'd be freaked.

Attention eggbid Users:
Many of you have been getting emails asking for your login information and credit card information. IT IS A FRAUD EMAIL. It did not come from us. We do not ask for that information. We also would never send you to another site for verification. We don't have the time or the want to verify each eggbid account. Scott and I (Tim) do not sign our emails "The eggbid team".
PLEASE do not give out your information EVER.

(copied from the eggbid site)

Yeah, that's been there for a while. This is a totally different thing. However...makes you realize they haven't done much, if anything to secure the privacy of their customers e-mail addresses and private information.
