When I first saw the egg I thought it was a cayuga egg but really small, but then I thought and Im not so sure about it now that it was probably one if my guinea fowls first eggs but Im pretty sure they're not supposed to look like that. It has a lot of texture to its shell.

I've never seen an egg like this one before. I have a 8 basically 9 year old cayuga duck (her name's Totoro) shes been laying normal eggs as far as I know. I haven't seen any of hers recently because they break them most of the time before I let them out of the coop.
I am going to open it here in a bit (I'll get photos of it after I break it.

Looks like a cayuga "fairy" egg to me. My cayuga made them a couple times. They had no yolk, and the bloom was super thick. I think they are adorable.
Thank you, I think it might be one. I've not heard or seen much about "fairy" eggs before until now. The egg I found in the coop today felt like it had no yolk in it. I am going to open it tomorrow and I'll get pictures of it before and after I open it.

Yup, slug. No yolk! That is a tiny egg!

Totoro looks like a real sweetie. So nice you have her still after 8 years, when she's going all white!
Thank you! She isn't to impressed about being close to people but she is okay with me being near her if I'm not bothering her. Totoro hatched and raised two ducklings 4 years ago and my cayuga drake, Chiharu (he's 9 yo) is the dad we kept both ducklings but we lost one two years ago (her name was Maria). The other one is a drake (his name is Haru).
Totoro is a really good duck and I love her and all the others lots, I'm glad the "fairy" egg doesn't mean she has anything bad going on.

Fun fact's
"Chiharu" from what I looked up means "A thousand springs" in Japanese and "Haru" just means "spring". Maybe that's one reason why Chiharu is 9 yo? :p
Chiharu is one of my older sisters duck and she named him that when he was still a duckling. She's moved out of the house 4 years ago but so in way he's sort of mine now. Totoro is a name from a movie called my neighbor Totoro I don't know what it means though (I haven't looked it up).

Okay that was bit long, have a great rest of your day/night.
