No shes an only chicken at the moment had another chicken but sadly we lost her

Not at the moment I am planning on getting another chicken right now she runs around the yard with my dog and cat

It is best to start with 3 birds at a bare minimum. If you stay with 2 and one dies, you will continually need to add birds.

I didnt think about that I will get two more then after I expand her coop to make more room

One Roo isn't that bad. I just sold 30 or so and processed 10. Now that is loud non stop crowing from dusk to dawn. With only 1 Roo, he will only crow a short while. Unless he hears a Roo down the street.
Also some breeds crow less than others..

Well, at least she gets a little company from the cat and dog Chickens, I find are very social. I hope this spring you will be able to get her a couple of friends.

I like hearing more positive stories containing Dogs/Chickens for a change..
I read about attacks more than friendships way too often.

My dogs and birds live in harmony.. I'm glad for the OP as well!
