My husband and I like our eggs cooked over easy. Anyways, I have one bird that when we cook her eggs over easy the whites are really runny. When you crack the egg in the pan it seems the whites don't hold together really well, and end up having to scramble the egg instead. This is from one of my RIRs. The other eggs that we cook over easy are from my Old English and their whites hold together really good. Anyone know why this hens egg whites are so runny when cracked? Is she missing something in her diet? Any suggestions?

I had runny egg whites last year for a while. My hens are about 2.5 years old. I had not had them long when I noticed this problem. It may have been caused by stress due to the move to my garden. The problem cleared up after a few weeks. I try to make sure that they have plenty of layers pellets.
