It may be dry fowl pox. Do you see any other scabs on any other part of the face, wattles, or earlobes? Are any other chickens affected? Fowl pox is a virus spread by mosquitoes that typically lasts around 4 weeks. There is no treatment, but iodine applied to the scabs may help dry them out. There is a vaccine available for people in in tropical areas where it can be a bad problem. Unless wet pox occurs with lesions in the throat and airway, most chickens recover. I would look into the throats of any who seem very sick, since they may stop eating.
All of the other one look fine ,she's the only one . I have noticed a lot of mosquitos hanging around the coop . We live next to a canal. Thank you , in going to try to get the mosquitoes under control.
