Hi everyone .... can anyone offer any insight to what type of eggs these are? I found them in the park and was wondering if they might be turtle or snake. They are about marble size and literally the most colorful eggs I have ever seen. Thanks!

They look like a kid was crafty with markers and a golf ball! Very pretty.

Without a doubt, those egss are from a Diamond Dove...

They look like marbles. Never ever heard of checkered eggs. Also, turtle and snake eggs are white.

Thanks everyone for your responses! Wow, diamond dove! I thought snake eggs because it was checkered and so colorful.

Those aren't diamond dove eggs. Buffer was just joking with you.

I'm not sure that they are eggs at all. Do you have any other pictures you can show us? What do they feel like?

To me they look like paintballs. Reptile eggs don't come in checkered and are usually buried or guarded.
