Weird lump

I just found this weird lump that’s on my duck’s back pretty much on her tail. Is this supposed to be here and I’ve just never noticed it? Any ideas on what it is?

You've probably seen her touch it with her bill and then rub the "oil" over her feathers to waterproof herself.
