looks like a kidney!

Here's one of the weirdest eggs I've gotten so far...


When I poked it open, what appeared to be whites came out. The inside was a very dark color; maybe even slightly purplish.

When I first saw it I thought, "grub". Grubs creep me out. Then it looked like a newborn rodent--if it had a face and legs. Ick. Being on a paper plate makes it even ickier!

lol i thought baby mouse with no legs also....any way you look at it....it is just yucky....lol

I have absolutely no idea who laid it; all I can say is that it equally grossed me out when I first found it (well, one of my pullets saw it first).
