Wanted to ask if anyone has seen an egg like this one before. It's from an Easter Egger, normally green, but it has dark green swirls of color on it. That's how I found it in the nest. Do I need to worry about this? We've had a lot of different types of weird eggs here, but this one I've never seen and never seen anyone post a picture. I just tested a spot to see if it comes off with water, and it does.

I got my first weird / odd egg!!!


All mushy and jelly like. No clue what breed laid it.


And I got a neat dual color from my Black Australorp.

This is what I found last week. My hens have only been laying for a few weeks now. This green striped one from an Americauna. I knew they layed different colors but never saw anything like this....makes me think of what dinosaur eggs would have looked like!!!

My ameraucana laid a white egg!! She's also been laying rubbery eggs. I'm not sure what is going on with her!
