Weird peeling scab on chicken leg

Noticed my chicken had a scab on a part of her leg that looks like a scale. It fell off and this is what it looks like now. Is this normal? She also had some weird black spots on her comb but it healed and went away.

Correction* She still has black spots on her comb. They’re just these black dots that also look like mini scabs. The weather is super hot where we live right now (California)
