Weird phobias?

I have quite a list

I freak out when either someone is purposely holding the door shut or it takes more than 1 second to open a public restroom door. I just get really afraid that I will be trapped in there forever. That is because in 3rd grade I locked myself in my locker........highly traumatic

Porto potties-During fair, I have to use a porto potty quite a bit, and I can NOT let my behind touch the seat, and I have to examine the inside of the toilet, and I have to keep an eye on the inside the whole time, I am terrified that alligators or snakes will jump out and bite my rear.

I am very ticklish and I even get ticklish when I go to the salon and have my hair cut, styled, or dyed.

I have a heavy pillow at the foot of bed on top so I can always feel something on the bottom of my feet, not feeling anything makes me think a hand is going to grab my feet.

I can handle most scary movies, but scary movie advertisements on tv freak me out because they only show the scary parts and you don't know the whole story, I am always on the lookout for them and will change the channel if they come on.

Adam's Apple's on guys drive me crazy and I can not stand looking on them or I start shivering, and I wouldn't touch one for $100.

Warts-ick

hickees-even icker

My worst is probably having a fear of bad dreams

How could I forget balloons? Maybe because subconsciously even writing the word is scary!

My kids have never had balloons at their bday parties and we avoid restaurants that give away balloons or use them for decorations.

Hate 'em

Yes! I'm not alone in my balloon hate!

Nails on a chalkboard don't phase me a bit....but that squeaky plastic sound.....

I have a fear of balloons for a completely different reason. I flip if I see a kid chewing on a balloon. A small child in my area, did that and it popped. The kid ended up choking to death on it.

Have you considered poking them back at the same spot....only harder?
I had a guy squeeze my knee one time and I smiled sweetly as I squeezed his knee very hard with fingernails extended. End of problem.

"Passive-Aggressive" isn't always bad......

I have a fear about telling people my phobias. What if one of you is a serial killer who likes to murder people in the ways that frighten them the most!!

Same here. It scares me...

I am deathly afraid of the dark....I sleep with my big light in my room. If I get put in the pitch black all alone, I start to cry

.....I know its pathetic. If someone is with me though who I know is strong and could protect me - I feel somewhat better, but not completely better.

Siderodromophobia: fear of trains, railroads, ect. When I was little, my grand daddy used to think it was so funny to STOP in the middle of the train tracks WHEN THE BARS WERE DOWN AND THE TRAIN WAS COMMING. Scared the crap out of me every time. He would always peel out plenty of time before the train crossed but it scared the h*** out of me. He then got my dad to do it, "becuase its funny".

I hate anything near my eyes, I hate the eye doctor and I especially hate the Glaucoma test I have never been able to do it.
