I'm afraid to sleep on my back. Occasionally I try, but I freak out that something is going to fly from the ceiling and land on my face. I've tried to put a pillow over my head, but then the something on the ceiling gets bigger and is going to ... I dunno what it's going to do, but I don't want it to do it. When I'm on my stomach or my side, there's no fear at all. The ceiling is that last thing on my mind.
I grew up in Florida, and palmetto bugs were the worst. I'd scope them out and walk WAY around them. A lot of times they would be on the steps of the house and I wouldn't go inside even when it was past the time I was suppose to be inside. They are not afraid.
The thought of squishing a bug makes me want to vomit unless they don't have guts like mosquitoes at gnats. Flies have guts... ewww
