I ate dog when I was over in the Gulf and it really wasnt so bad. Of course, all we had to eat other than that was MRE's so its not hard to do better than that.

But I am sure that some of the things we eat are thought of as strange in other areas like hot dogs or bologna for instance.

I know I love both of those too but im sure some people would think of meatby products as being gross.

Well I'm half Chinese, so I've eaten some pretty odd things in my day

.

I know the hundred-year egg as thousand-year egg, and it's really not that old. They bury 'em with a bunch of stuff (I believe you can find it on wikipedia), and it's out a few weeks to a few months later. They look weird, but they're tasty! I swear!

Haven't heard of eating chicken embryos, though a philipino dorm-mate of mine in college ate duck embryo.

It seems like a lot of people throw away the chicken's feet, but I've eaten them at Chinese restaurants. You can get them easily at dim sum. Not a lot of meat, but very spicy and very good.

I still have a vivid memory of when I went to China, and we went down the canals at what was touted as China's "Little Venice" (ha-ha! right...). At one turn, I saw a woman cut the throat of a chicken, and let the blood drain into the canal.

I won't tell you what else I saw going into that canal...
