Weird spots on egg?

What are these werid bumps on this egg? Safe to eat? Happens every so often..

Got 7 eggs today out of our 10 hens! Pretty awesome for it being so bitter cold here on PA!

It is fine, it is called a bloom- some times it comes out spotty. If it bugs you just wash the egg right before eating.

Yes the brownspots are just excess shell pigment and the heavy waxyness is bloom.

Thanks all! After they warmed up a bit the purple hue went away.

since i am bringing them in from the cold outside. Is counter still safe or do they need refridgerated?

I keep mine on the countertop year round and never had an issue even when it’s winter.

Those are beautiful eggs!

They will be safe on the countertop.
