There for awhile I was only getting 2-3 eggs per day from my ducks when I have 12 hens that could be laying. We switched to fermenting our feed, and now I'm getting 8ish eggs per day, yay! But I keep getting some odd eggs. At first I thought it was because they were old, but I've been making sure to get them all out of the nesting boxes and use them quickly, so I know it's not that now.
It was grayish, and attached to the yolk. I would think if it were a parasite it would be in the white?
This yolk is really cloudy- white mixed into the yellow. It was still firm and seemed fine structurally.
This is the third time I've gotten an egg like this. Once again, the light part is attached to the yolk. It didn't seem hard like a shell or anything, just clumpy.
If anyone has any ideas of what this could be I'd love to hear it! Thanks!
