??Weird stuff on coop floor..was she bound up?

    Sorry, no pic..didn't think of it in time. At first I thought it was a soft-shelled egg that had been consumed, but when I picked it up I found what appeared to be two partial egg shells, very thin, attached together and a very large, very fleshy, veiny, almost egg-shell-looking chunk of tissue, also attached. Very strange, but I believe it came from my girl with the prolapse problem last week. Hopefully she feels some major relief! Everyone is acting perfectly fine, so is it safe to assume all is well???

    That sounds like it could have been an ovary. An infection in a chicken is a solid fleshy looking thing too. But with veins it makes me think ovary...OUCH!! Poor thing.
