"Oh I have been doing that too, But I have some empty milk gallons I have been filling twice a day with super hot water to help bring the temps up in the coop as well. I pour a bit into the water bowls I have out there to thaw things too. When all is said and done, I've made 3 trips out in the morning and 1 in the afternoon! LOL"
Miss understand here ... I really have no water! The well is dry! And the person that is going to dig the new community well (6 homes) has been tied up with this weather!
So ... I buy water ... and walk it up to the coop! Which I have fallen 3 times on the ice! Prayers ... checks in the mail ... a phone call from GOD himself ... that would make this cold snap easier to handle ... DID I MENTION!!!! I PICKED THE WRONG TIME OF YEAR TO QUITE SMOKING?
