Definitely. That's why I like having a decent sized coop... keeps them from going crazy during the long cold spells.

Yup..... Been trying to do some more improvements to my coop to help them stay happy and healthy.
This year I got so busy I wasn't doing as much with my birds as I would have liked.... They still hang out with me though.

I don't think you're preaching, I have no doubt not smoking would help a lot of ailments I have. It's just so darn hard.

I don't know and I'm not preaching..... It's just an observation....I quit smoking about 25 years ago..... Before that I had crippling headaches fairly often..... So it's either the quitting smoking cured my headaches or the Bone Marrow Transplant did.....

I woke up with what i thought was going to be one too, but quickly took 2 pills and it has eased up quite a bit. Stress.

Never heard of them.....I like BF Goodrich Radial TAs on my Firebirds.... And other cars.
But I still like Firestone when there 3 feet of snow on the roads and they are closed.
Because when the roads are closed and you get stuck no one is coming to get you.
Our roads close a lot during the winter.
M28 along Lake Superior shoreline is closed so often they have electric signs that tell you if it to open or closed.
I'm not sure how the people that live there get to work every day...... It pretty much snows hard and non stop during the winter there.
So they are driving on roads with no police or fire presence.
Years ago a couple of cops for killed (separate incidences) assisting stranded motorist..... Since then if the road is closed your on your own.

! never would have thought that would have worked.
It wasn't bare root. We had it in a washtub, root ball, burlap, & all, during the holidays, then drug it into the basement, near a window for light, and kept it watered 'til the ground was soft enough to get a pick into. Wasn't like I had a choice.

I quit drinking - not fun, but I did it. I quit nicotine (leaf tobacco) - nearly impossible, but I did it. I have a strong addictive personality (note my post count? ) If I could do it , so can you, It's just a matter of necessity.

After all of the above is done and said, I have told the Princess that if I get a terminal diagnosis - I will not go back to drinking, but there will be a bag of Levi Garret in my right hip pocket and a bag of Red man (green bag) in my left hip and a chew in each cheek of my mouth.

I'd never survive up there!

Yeah Winters are bad..... But our summers are so perfect.
I really took the time to enjoy my sunsets here this year..... It was pretty much about 70 to 75 degrees all summer.
Then we had that really warm Fall..... Just too weird.

Just got back from "Sasquatch" patrol behind the house.
I'm happy to say no sign of bigfoots here....

That was a really nice buck you caught on the trailcam! Brow tines on both sides, or is the left one missing?
