Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Well I wouldn’t feel bad if none of them grew! I’d just feel like a jerk if I killed them because I am a ding dong. Incubating seems complicated to me! I’m excited to see the ones that are fertile hatch.

I’d much rather have the ducks hatch them, but with Pekins and Cayugas I don’t know how likely that would be.
You get any eggs from yours yet?

That has popped up a time or two, and I always am amazed that those office workers can be THAT ignorant.

It isn't a matter of "telling people what to do". There are a lot of poor people in Alaska... no way do they have the money to go out and buy a fancy new EPA approved stove, and no way do they have enough money to heat in any other way.

So you are telling them to 1. freeze to death and DIE (it gets insanely cold in that area), or 2. sell everything that they have for peanuts and move someplace else with no money to move and no job prospects.

:barnie

And also those areas mentioned have such bad air quality not only because of the fires.... they also often NEVER turn off their cars (because then they can't restart since it is too cold) and those 2 spots are like bowls.... all of the pollution just sits there....
Yeah we leave ours running a lot too when it's real cold.
It's nothing to go out in a parking lot and almost every car is just sitting there idling.

No! I told them this morning they were freeloaders!! I’m going to wait just a little while longer then I’ll just give up. The Hubs will be up your way March 24th-25th so I’ll likely bring the girls then if you are free. And I’ll have to bring all of my boys because they will want to hug and kiss them goodbye!

I’m excited for Howard. Such a cute guy.
