Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Yep, we were just talking its about time to do that!
I had one big clump of it right smack in the middle of the back yard when I bought my house. I hated where it was. . hubby finally dug it up And moved it in different places. . it transplanted wonderfully. . but was a bee och to dig!

Good to know! I think it would be awesome in my duck pen, glad to know it will transplant. He can do the digging. :D

I seriously thought about wack n it off and saving it to use in the run. But hubby lit it up before I had the chance to mention it

We did that once, he wrapped a rope around the base and cut it off below the rope, gave the whole thing to the Swedish ducks. They loved it! I'll distribute these throughout the yard in different areas.

I cut some and used it in the dog house one time when a cold snap snuck up on me and I had no bedding lol.

Hi all! Well, the house has yet to spin off to the in-color world of Oz, but not for lack of trying!
You know things are bad when my cockerels (who have been moved around a bit, so don't like each other very much) are all cuddling in the bachelor pad.
The weather man promises a little snow... it's either not going to, or it did, but the wind carried it away!
