Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

at my house the feet get muddy.. and then it freezes... and then they loose toes! Or they get snow and ice balls on the feathered toes...and. .... loose toes! :hit

I would try to remember to check feet every night... but yeah right :sick

Anyway. ... no more of those. :D
Yeah, if I had I had all that to deal with I wouldn't have em either..:(

Boo on the migraine! After the one that sidelined my surgery, my Dr. prescribed Imitrex. I have had one since, tried the Imitrex and it worked wonders! I was back to being functional in about 4 hours.

They keep telling me to get the ear piercing. If I could remember to stop and do it when I don't have a migraine, I might just do it.

Understandable. Mine jump up on the coop and I hear the mud balls. That's usually when I break them off. :D

I used to have a few Cochins, and Faverolles, and d'uccles and Marans. The Marans weren't too bad but mine were very light on the feathering.

I had the worst time with those bantam d'uccle. Maybe because they are bantam and so short? And liked hiding in nest boxes and flying up to skinny inappropriate perches? Very cute birds.. some great colors... sweet hens but the roosters were all A holes.

A friend of dd1s had that done. She had really bad migraines, like you!
And after she did it they stopped.:idunno

My silkies always look look the worst! They're low to ground ..:lau
And there's a few mutts with light feathering. If we get a big snow they get a little frosty but rarely snows and doesn't usually stick around long enough to cause a problem...
Usually! :hmm
Just saw Lexi off her nest so I took the opportunity to check her eggs. 12 eggs, only 1 clear. I left it, because she has such a beautiful arrangement and mound built, I didn't want to mess it up! Lol

Time to lay back down. Head busting again. :he
:hit soooo sorry! Feel better soon!
:hugs:hugs:hugs

I don't get them often, but when I do, I'm pretty much useless for the day. Can't handle light, sound, or movement. Sometimes they make me throw up.

Ya know, if you'd quit smacking it against that wall it wouldn't hurt so much...
