Huge racket this morning outside... My big yellow coop fell over. It was the coop that came with the house and I had noticed there was some erosion around one of the brick piles used to keep it up off the ground. This morning's deluge must have been the final straw. Thankfully the boys are all home and we can go out and get it set up again. (I'm going to build a better base for it first!)
Oh no! I hope no birds were injured...:fl

But... it's still hot and melty when you get down to nothing! (OK, I have central AC in my house, but outside is yucky!)

 Were there any birds in it when it went?
No central anything here... :lau
I guess growing up in Florida did it to me...

Ditto. No one up here has central air unless they live in one of the few huge houses in town. I do admit tho, we had a really unusual summer last year and there were a couple days when we needed more than just the windows open. We actually hit 90o!!! yuck! Had to teach the DH how to build a swamp cooler. I guess having southern roots still comes in handy.

Blue egg laying mutts sell well..... sell the blasted chicks.... sell the chicks. ... money is good... smacking your head against a wall hurts and is bad... :he

Does it usually get very warm there, though? Like over 80? Last summer we had a couple of weeks of hot and very humid weather. (Well, it was here where we live - we were in Alaska basking in 72* weather at the time.) It can be anywhere from 70 to 100+ in a matter of days. Sometimes it's humid, sometimes not.

90 is wonderful! :celebrate
Not with 95% humidity. :sick
