I've never been in this situation, but you might consider letting them know that you haven't heard from them & to please contact you immediately if they're still interested as you have other people wanting them. Maybe give them 24hrs after you send it to reply, then move on.

Side question; Is it normal for people to come to your house? I've always met people in parking lots. I know Leicestershire must be totally different than San Diego. I'm actually picturing it like Midsumer, which is the perfect dream location for me (minus all the murders. )

Is there a problem with people coming to the house?
I know if rather have people come here than have to go meet someone in a parking lot..... Just curious....I know things are different in different places.....I had a hard time downstate remembering to take my keys out of the ignition. I'd lose keys if I lived down there.....

It's totally true too..... The one time I took the keys out of my truck and locked it..... Haven't seen the keys since. Lucky I had a spare cuz this truck has security......

I wouldn't want just anyone I was selling a bird to to come to my house necessarily.. Especially if it was in response to Craig's list. Too many thieves in the world that will case your place while they are there!

That's why I asked.... Someone robbing me around here wouldn't occur to me.
There really is not much crime here.... Don't even know where the keys to my house are as we've never locked it.
To this day even with the meth head across the street I've never had anything stolen from my property....... Leave my keys in the ignition....etc....etc... But I totally understand it..... Remember I did grow up in the Detroit area..... Yeah like theres no crime there...

Hey y'all I need your guys and gals opinion on something.

I have 5 chicks that I have offered up for sale last week and someone wants to buy them (yay) they wanted to get them last friday but I could not do that day and they could not do saturday so we agreed tuesday night well I get a email saying a emergency came up (ok fair enough) and they wanted to pick them up yesterday, well yesterday I sent a email asking them to confirm they are coming and to give me a call (gave my number) so I can tell them my address. No email no call no nothing yesterday and still nothing today. I'm thinking of sending a email asking if they are still interested in the chicks or should I just cut them lose and find a new buyer (which I have ppl interested already)?

I see in later posts you are going to give them until Saturday and move on. Good plan. My DH sells antique tractor parts. He gets calls from people saying, "I'll be there on (whatever day)" and too often, people don't show up and don't bother to call saying they won't be there so he wastes a good part of the day waiting. I keep telling him to ask for a time frame, but he doesn't. His choice, I guess. I tell him he can't complain about waiting around if he doesn't at least do that.

I don't have a hand written prescription.... Never have they mail my scripts.
Actually I was told today I now longer have to come in person I can call in....I have a standing script.... But my doctor has to renew it each month. I'm only taking Morphine nothing too strong.... Been taking them for 15 years today is a bad day.... Feel like curling up in a ball. You would at least think the Tigers could play better today..... Make me feel better.

Maybe because you have a standing prescription it's different. I thought it was a federal law, but maybe state? I just know that when I worked as a pharmacy tech, there were certain controlled medications that needed a handwritten prescription.

We are currently in a blizzard warning with 5-8" predicted, with "localized amounts of 18" possible". The snow isn't so much the problem. It's the 50 mph winds that are supposedly behind it that are the problem. Nothing to stop the wind out here on the prairie.
