Hey all Haven't been able to keep up here so apologies if I missed something!

Zilla is still on her nest and is doing well; she's plucked a bunch of feathers and down and has lined her nest. Jasper is being a right brat guarding her and hissing at me, but as is normal with this breed that's as far as it ever goes. He's my orneriest gander and he'll hiss and posture at me but doesn't ever do anything about it, lol.

Emu chick is doing good, up and walking and starting to eat and drink. Waiting to get the results on the DNA test to see what its gender is, and hoping that the third egg hatches okay.

only hay I would put on the ground is already so saturated in goat poo and pee...

Nah.... Best is to wait it out... or use pallets to give more mud free areas for them... It would be nice if I could build up the run more with sand. But the dirt floor coop is dry... so it just is what it is.

We are heading into our mud season too.... There's a lot of mud under our snow.
Went to Escanaba shopping.... They don't have any snow down there.....

I don't have a hand written prescription.... Never have they mail my scripts.
Actually I was told today I now longer have to come in person I can call in....I have a standing script.... But my doctor has to renew it each month. I'm only taking Morphine nothing too strong.... Been taking them for 15 years today is a bad day.... Feel like curling up in a ball. You would at least think the Tigers could play better today..... Make me feel better.
