I have 27 mutt eggs going into lockdown for the sale at the co-op this Saturday along with the 13 that hatched last week... most are dark colored eggs tho so im not sure whats going on in them...

Thanks @WVduckchick!! I live in Defiance, Ohio smaller town in between Toledo Oh and Ft.Wayne Indiana.actually known for a few things 1. Prize Winner of Defiance Ohio a movie about a family here good movie I recommend it..2. Sam Hornish Jr a nascar driver is from here..and a few other things I can’t think of rn lol but for being small a lot of people have heard of it..in a couple months we are moving but staying in this town just to another river lol..(long as place goes through fingers crossed)we live right on the river right now..once we move river is across but still have river access (very important to us as we kayak and canoe a lot)...I would like to relocate my man may have a job opportunity in Wheeling Wv so that’s a possibility or Michigan or may chose to stay as he’s been at his job for 15+ years..and wait until retirement to relocate..big reason on waiting to purchase a home..also all my children are here in Ohio as well as his only son so...and yes I believe I’m gonna love this chat thread..I can talk(type) a lot lol..and boy real life stuff definitely going through some of that myself haha..

I used to travel from WV to Toledo on a regular basis, but its been many years.
Wheeling wouldn't be a bad place to move, I don't think.

Mom is in the hospital again. It's always hard to get to the bottom of everything, so I will probably make the trek up there Wednesday to see what I can figure out.

Took the puppers to the vet on Friday to unstitch the eye to find out if the surgery worked or not, aaaannnddd,

I've been trying to figure out where to put that cabinet incubator. Hubby said if I moved some stuff around, it would fit in my room. Apparently he hasn't been in there lately.

I like snakes as long as its not a venomous one or big enought to eat me..
Im having my morning cup of fuel as well... i think its gonna take more than one or two today tho..

Snakes don't bother me, really, as long as they're outside where they belong. It's when I find them in the house that they gotta go. Yeah, I know, they keep the mouse population in check, and when you're surrounded by fields & woods, mice in the house are a way of life. That's why God invented traps. I've had rat snakes drop to the floor from the suspended ceiling. Also found a shed skin draped over & through the window blinds once. Oh, and one on the dining room floor trying to find it's way out the sliding door. DW doesn't know about any of those three.

Had a 4 footer in here last week. Sometimes I can come around the outside of the house & get the sliding door open to let it out; sometimes I can't. This time I couldn't. Had to make a good snake out of it.

Yep, same here. Which is why i have all my cats.. they're all good mousers.
We've only had one snake in the building since we've been here tho. A small copperhead in the bathroom. Dh got him.
We leave the black snakes alone but the coppers and rattlers get taken care of. Cant have those too close.
