Hello pond, so sorry to hear about Howard! I found a keet drowned in the waterer, and another just up and died. But at least we have nice weather.

DW, for the most part, leaves all matters chicken to me. She knows my feelings, and pretty much goes along with them, but doesn't take an active role, except for taking them goodies & carrying a stick in case Mr. Rooster gets a bit too froggy. I told her yesterday of Howard's history, how spoiled he'd become, and the palatial estate that was built for him, and how he'd just met his demise. It upset her more than I figured it would, and she was genuinely sorry. There may be hope yet.

It is a pretty sad story.
Hubby took it really hard since he has known Howard from the beginning when his boss brought him home.

Fox probably got a rabbit.... They are noisey buggers when they are dying....

thought I would let my call drake out of the bus for a stroll with the Cayuga gals for a bit. They do not like him one bit. They are scared of him lol. Honking like a couple of geese every time he comes near them.
