How come you are opening the bator during hatching? Just wondering...

You think that's bad, you oughta see me during a hatch In and out all the time.

The whole 'never open your incubator during hatch or the chicks will shrinkwrap and die' thing is blown way out of proportion, in my experience.

Also... they went from being on the shelf liner in the hatcher to shelf liner in the brooder. I start them all out on the liner then switch to pine bedding after about a wk..

Give it a day or two. You'll know for sure.
