So I didn't do my dishes for a couple days. . ok maybe 3. .

Woke up this morning to an ant invasion extraordinaire.

Pretty successful hatch I’d say, 50% on the duck eggs, I think the super high humidity lowered my hatch.
I think I’ve got 50% on the chicks too but there are still a couple left to hatch and 2-3 that look like they’ll pip soon.

I’m not sure where this blue one came from though, I’ve a blue EE hen but she’s never thrown that color before.

Hi all! Hope everyone is well... sounds like crazy weather abounds out there! Torrential rain! Heat waves! For us, we are gradually sneaking into summer... 90's one day, 80s, 70s the next. I have no complaints.

I have a bator full of eggs due this weekend.

Moved everyone around to make room and finally get an AC breeding pen together. Those girls are giving me major stink eye today, but Nod (my awesome cockerel) whispers "Thank you" every time I go by.

Gorgeous little EE! Are the ducklings from the new Anconas? They are cuties!
If you incubate them with high humidity again, try fine-misting the eggs once a day, or wiping them with a slightly dampened sponge.

Yeah, I got really behind too... Deb was the biggie, but all else was mostly weather, hatching, misguided broody magic (guess who), ant and fly infestations... Hmmm.... I'm sure I'm missing something... It'll come to me while I'm out scooping poop. Joy.
