Actually, none of my nieces or nephews call me uncle, all my brothers get called uncle but not me.

what do they call you? I'd just look at it as it means you are special to them -- I know we had aunts, uncles, grandparents that all got the formal title, but we also had a special aunt and my great grandparents that we never called by those titles, they had special nicknames and were/are the ones we were most bonded to.
