Also... you could put ground cover trays in the bottom. they have drainiage holes and would only have to be supported in three places.

Most beds like these have slatted bottoms. Thats the first thing you need to do. Then decide on what to hold the dirt in with.

Don't know what a ground cover tray is or does, but where would I find one?
 
A few pics from Phoebe's outing with her lone duckling. The juvies had to test her a bit, and they scuffled a little, but I broke it up and they left her alone for a while. Long enough for her to get a bath, swim a little, walk around the yard a bit, and root in some mud.
