Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

I'll take a double... once it's at least past noon...:lau
Hello Pond peeps! Hubby was a great help today, he got the door on the turkey coop and put the roof on as well. I built 2 run panels and painted them. Then the wire got stapled on. We installed 3 panels, so only one left to put up. I need to build the door.
A few good days should finish it up.View attachment 1460733
Nice! :highfive:
@ sourland Well you slid another one by didn't you . 76 is a good year after all the greatest country on the planet was founded in 1776 . But you should know cause you was there:gig What a pleasure it has been to get to know you . Your steady whit and boundless knowledge are without equal. Loved by all revered by many and the true image of a gentleman . If you were southern you would surly wear a white suit and sell fried chicken .Missed when your away, admired an respected when you are here . What more could one want ? I know gold would be nice, but would pale in comparison to the friendship that many here feel for you . So a happy Birthday to you Sir Sour , Safe travels and a great time . You can fill us in when you get back :bow:bow:bow
:goodpost:

There's more room on the broom than normal... We lost our beautiful, sweet bunny 'Bun' yesterday. :hitI hate to admit it, but I didn't take it well. I cry when all of our animals die, but this one hit me harder than others. She was one of our unexpected pets that sort of found us & moved in, but was quickly beloved by all. I read that a Rex only lives 5-6yrs. We had her for at least 8, but her passing still came as a shock to me. Her giant bunny condo sits by the front door in our livingroom & she was very interactive day & night with the family. Now it sits there like a dark, empty, sad thing. I keep hearing phantom bunny noises that make me forget for a millisecond that shes gone. :(

Someone please distract me I tell me whats been going on here all week.
:hugs:hugs:hugs
Im so sorry Room!
I don't like rap or heavy metal, if I can'rt understand it, what's the sense? Having said that, I like most music..
:highfive:
Ok, I'm all caught up. Happy belated Sour! I hope you're having a good & safe trip!

We've been hammered with late summer heat a solid month earlier than normal. I'm getting too old to take it. I made DH go to home depot to get one of those portable AC's & a stronger fan for the coop. He had to go to 3 different stores to get it & said that in the 1st store he walked in & saw people nearly in a fist fight trying to get the last one. He finally got one at Lowes & said they too sold out while he was there with people just frantically grabbing them. Crazy!!! It doesn't cool down the whole house, but at least it cools down one room that we can all pile into. My dog Meatball is getting too old for this kinda heat too.
Way to hubs! :yesss:
Im glad ya have a cool spot to relax.. and no doubt Meatball appreciates it too!! :love
Wow! Thats awesome Shaw! :clap

Oy, I have five of them.. Sometimes I'm just not in the mood for them.. Have a wonderful and 'joyful' day.. ;)

Morning Pond,
Hope those caught in the heat, again, like us, sigh, are doing well and keeping the critters cool.

Same here and it's ridiculous!!! Looking at 90's and high humidity again today. We do NOT get this kind of weather. Before this we only had a single day in the prior 2 YEARS hit 90o, just 90o and high humidity is almost unheard of for us. Worse, we have not seen any measurable rain now for almost a month and all that lush green we had has now turned into crunchy brown.
WOW! That is gorgeous!

Sometimes not having any family located close by is a good thing.

Interesting reading on some of the poultry industry new stuff, except, #4 is definitely creepy. Do any of you remember "Soylent Green"?
