Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Thanks, i think i am building muscle tone! It will be great when they have their own coop. One is sleeping on the roof of the lean-to, where the others are inside. I am going to worry about it all night.
I got a stupid big black Tom cat that keeps bugging the dogs and birds at night.
It can't get to anything it just stirs them up. Turned my dogs loose to chase it off earlier and do you think they done anything? No:th
My dogs are a bit TOO gentle

Got a killer headache :(... goin to bed early. See y'all tomorrow...:frow:hugs
Sleep well. Get better. :hugs

I don't mind taking care of my own kid but I hope the extra one isn't high maintenance.
And as I am typing this they are already raiding the fridge.
I've feed them twice already and we didn't pick them up till almost noon. :gig
Even if he is, you don't have to maintain him... "Here's what we're eating/doing/working on today." Period. (Unless, of course, you get to like him - then you can be nicer!):)

Not my dog. He killed a stray tom here last year. He'll kill any small animal he gets ahold of except our house cat. They're buddies. Oh, wait - the house cat isn't a small animal - he weighs about 22 lbs.

My dogs have been around my cats and other critters so much and never allowed to kill anything. They bark only when something is around that isn't normal. . but it's not like they are gonna do anything about it. . . maybe if I'm not out here They might Possibly. . but if I'm with them no way are they about to take a chance. It's nice they can be around the ducks but annoying when you want them to be a bit more protective.

I Will definitely not be catering to the bf. But I don't dislike him. . . yet.
He's a bit cocky in my opinion So far, but nothing too disrespectful. Not my cup of tea but my dd has a very different taste in most all things than I do so I'm not surprised. He DID however drop the f bomb in front of my dad. . we had a talk about that already.

I'm not above using the f word but my dad doesn't go for that kind of language and I watch my mouth out of respect in his presence and he had better grow a filter if he wants to get along here.

And can someone please tell me how anyone who is not Luke Bryan thinks they look good in skinny jeans? Patterned ones to top it off?

I'm OK with mine taking out potential predators. I did feel bad about the cat, but... let's just say it was over with quickly. Ruger has killed two raccoons for sure in the past couple of weeks, and we heard him fighting with another one the other night but haven't found a carcass yet, so that one may have gotten away. Now, if he could only find and get that mink that took a third of my flock a couple of weeks ago...

Wow. Must be a tough dog to take out a raccoon! I wish I knew how to re- train them to get rid of unwanted critters but still leave mine alone.
They were curious about a wild baby bird today hopping on the ground and went over to investigate, but never even thought about touching it. They are just big sweeties. :love
