Good morning , Pond. @WVduckchick, is that lint on the Pond this morning? Our predicted 1-3" turned into 6" +. not much for many but enough to screw things up around here as road crews were not prepared and did nothing. A 20 minute ride to the doctor's office took 45 minutes.

I have a western on my 84 Dodge....A Meyer on the Willy's...... And a BOSS on my Chevy..... The BOSS is by far the Best..... But I'm Bias because that are made in the U.P. but seriously it's hard to beat a BOSS.

I worked for many years for a truck shop that sells and installs plows. We carried all those brands. Boss was the most expensive, we sold a ton more Meyers.

Good to know. I’ll add cinnamon & allspice. Orange juice seems popular online.

Never had a V plow. A V plow would work fine on my lane; not so sure about on the parking pad only 6' from the house door, unless the "V" could be reversed.

I'm not familiar with a 4 way? Sounds expensive.

Got the walkways, porch, and deck shoveled. Tried to get the truck stuck in the ditch alongside the driveway, but 4WD wouldn't let me stick it.

There's a reason BOSS is so expensive..... Can't beat a BOSS V-Plow. Sometimes they are the only plow worth using when you get a 3 foot dumping..... Especially if it's wet heavy snow...... And need to blaze a trail.
But for me a straight blade is fine.....I only have my driveway..... Jimmy down the road has a BOSS V-plow and he's up early early plowing our road. I go in and clean up later and hello keep it clean till the next big snow.

I guess though where most of you all live a V plow isn't necessary..... Here it's almost required at times.
