Thanks! We may still opt for a wooden frame around it later. . but I wanted to just dress it up for now.

I had a 4-part magnolia blossom stencil that I did all the way around my living room once, a border up next to the crown molding. I doubt I have any pictures of it (pre-smart phone days) but it was a job and a half!

I'll have to get some pointers from you sometime. I have a hard time getting the full designs without getting too much paint and messing it all up. I usually use a sponge like stippling tool. But was wondering if there were an easier faster way.
