Forgot to post this here. We have a squab!
I have only caught a glimpse under momma, and I’m still awaiting the other, but I got a good shot of the hatched egg!

@sourland this is especially for you.

Last week, Hubby went to visit the older gentleman friend I told y’all about last summer. The one we took fishing? His wife takes an aqua aerobics class and has missed a few classes because he has been a bit under the weather and she doesn’t like to leave him alone. So hubby went to sit with him while she went to her class.

He was still in bed when hubby arrived, so the wife left, and hubby did a little work while waiting for him to wake up. He finally hears him call for the wife. Hubby walks into the bedroom, surprising him of course. He had made it into his electric wheelchair, but a wheel was stuck on the corner of the bed. He was only wearing a t-shirt and socks. That’s it.

So hubby gets the chair un-stuck from the bed and says “you want me to help you with some clothes”. He reaches down and grabs himself and says “oops, I guess I am still half naked”

I don't know pigeons, other than the common barn variety, but that one's sure pretty.

Momma doesn't want any more deer; still has some from last year. Now what am I supposed to do? Guess I'll put on my guide hat for son.

Our processing plant will donate the meat to share the harvest program. . but I think you have to help pay for the processing.

We trash or quickly use up any meat left from the prior year (I think it may have happened once lol) but guide duty is fun too!

And similar to Shaw, we have hunters for the hungry programs. I’ve never done it, we don’t normally get “too much” for us to use, but it’s something you could look into. Have fun either way!

Some of the processors here do the same, but I've heard that some of them are charging now, 'cause there are so many. Just a money-making scheme for them; they could write it off on their taxes, anyway
