Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

We were missing a chicken... hadn't seen her for a couple days... so I sent a kid out to find her...

(We found her... somehow she had switched enclosures. )

Kid decided he needed to take my phone so that he could take photographic evidence.

Turns out that there is a sticker function on my phone.... this is what I now have on my phone.

Do you really think selling the goats was a good ideal?:lau:lau
Guess it would make sense to hit quotes :lau

Morning Pond.
Got everyone out and fed this morning and it looks like there is a death match brewing between one of the bantam roosters and a cockerel in Tribe 2.
I'm going to have to get on top of this one quickly, or I'll be patching them up all weekend.
The cockerel has lost his only interested hen to her elder brother and without a hen he'll go rogue.
Been down the village to see my Christmas presents and the hens are looking much fitter now. The rooster needs a good moult to sort out his missing feathers but he is putting on a bit of weight now.
Coffee is over at BYC cafe.

Phew, I'm glad I didn't take the advice given earlier. I kind of thought ducks had hooves but one doesn't like to argue with the more experienced.:p
My ducks use thier little webs for snow shoes.
It's so cold this morning I'm not letting them out till it at least gets to the teens today...-4 F is a bit cold. I'm worried how well the littles (what I call my call ducks)will take it.....

Thankfully it just doesn't get that cold here. I think about -9 Centigrade (16F) is the coldest I can recall.
