I would love to see some Emu pics! My favorite was when you posted the video of one of them playing in the brooder!
My flock has been doing great - although I'm pretty sure all my "fire babies" are part leghorn (can you say "flightier than a hummingbird on steroids"?).

I only had to pee once during the movie... but the first hour was hard to enjoy since I had to pee so badly.

HOWEVER, it was a good movie.

That's not too bad! Especially after a bucket of coffee..
Glad ya enjoyed the movie!

On when He be needing some huggies don't it No shame in being old or getting there . Is what it is .You know some how I thought I'd get more respect I'm sick as a dog wake up congested and hacking up crud . Fever and chills condo looks awful good right now .Gotta put the critters up and feed everybody,they don't understand not well .And the in house critters want food tooHot dogs and canned beans all they gonna get tonight . Oh well back to my chores Pull up my huggies and get to it

Dear daughter made it home safely on the plane back to her Kentucky home. Praise the Lord!
Hubby is fast asleep in his recliner.
Ducks have all fresh water for tomorrow.
Dishes are done, coffee is ready for in the morning. .
I got my back adjusted this morning and then went to work for 3 hours and got everything set up so hopefully things will go smooth for our first day back to school.
Christmas decorations are usually packed away by now but forget it. They ain't hurting me to keep looking at them for a few more days.
I'm feeling a bit relieved all the hustle and bustle is over. . but a bit sad too that time marches on at lightening speed it seems like.
Life goes on. Yada yada yada I know. But.
I could settle for a slowdown.

Pretty cold, I've been told. I know there are people that own them up in Canada

Okay, I'm stumped. I don't know the name of those compressed paper pulp egg trays used to stack eggs on a pallet for delivery to grocery stores.
They make great fire starters. My source of free ones dried up & I need to buy a bundle of them.
Anybody know?

go to restaurants... They use a boat load of them every day...

excellent fire strategy.... being flighty.
