Parents were feeding them, but we had a nice warm spell, and they were spending more time off the nest, starting to wean the babies. They had spent a couple nights nearby them, but not in the nest with them. Temps dropped again and we dipped back below freezing (it’s 25F this morning!) and Sunday morning they were very cold.

I took a video of my first try bottle feeding. They are doing well with it now, and have gained weight really well. I took them to work with me yesterday

Hopefully it will be worth it when it’s done. Hang in there.

We're home. Hello Pond Life. We left our hotel 11 AM yesterday and got home at 3:30 this afternoon. Not certain how many hours that is with all of the time changes - my jet lagged brain just can't go there. Due to a missed connection in San Francisco on the way there we were on the go for 25 hours before we arrived at out hotel. We're whupped for sure and will be crashing soon. Hope that all is well on the Pond and that all are okay. Talk to you tomorrow.
