Good morning Pond Skimmers. The crazy woman that I love insisted on unpacking everything last night. Nothing much in the house to eat, and we didn't think we should go out to eat so I made a frozen pizza. It was still daylight when I crashed and burned - Princess came to bed somewhat later. Between time changes/jetlag and the full moon I am fully awake and ready to roll. #1 grandson is home from college so we are meeting him, significant other, daughter and perhaps #2 grandson for lunch. Prior to that I have dog sleeping boxes to clean and have to give Tee Party a workout as my friend leaves for the first of the federation trials tomorrow. Not quite fair to the dog, but he's a pretty consistent creature; although, he gained more weight than I like while I was gone.

Everyone has seen those little hula dancer dash ornaments. Now for sure you all know that I am not tacky enough to buy one of those - heck no. I got a hula dancer BBR rooster for my dash. I NEVER impulse buy anything, but that thing was meant for me.

What's going on here ? Not even a ripple on the Pond let alone any waves or tsunamis.

Do you vacuum pack your meat, or wrap it in freezer paper? I watched a video the other day where a guy prefers to wrap his. We used to, before we started using vacuum sealers

I have two big chest freezers..... Probably don't need to. But we've always had them and when the kids moved out we still have two.
I always get a giggle before a big storm comes when they warn you to stock up and have three days worth of food on hand..

...I think I have the first year or two covered.

Ditto on the freezers and years ago I turned a small bedroom into a pantry. I mean really, who wants to get snowed in and risk running out of coffee, bacon and toilet paper?

Similar here this wk... supposed to have a few nights in the upper 30s and a few days in the upper 60s.. it was 39 in the dome when I woke up at 2 this morning, I climbed back into bed undrr my heat blanket.... Dh fired up the stove when he came in from work this morning around 8.. its was down right chilly till then..

ive got an extra charge today. Neighbors 13 yr old troubled orphan nephew. Kicked outa school 2 months in, she tells me put him to work all of my waterers got scrubbed yest, branches gathered for a bon fire, the littles powerwheels were cleaned(pollen) and my truck got washed
