My girls are getn up in chicken yrs and altho theyll have a retirement home i dont wanna loose them forever! i Have to get chicks off of em! One is jubilee and the other is frizzled black. The frizzle is an excellent mother, the jubilee is untested but id wager a heafty bet on her one eyed self! These are the only two birds i kept thru all my hiatus no matter what.

Yep, I still have the cochins, bantam of course.... plenty of eggs if you want some! I stuck with just blue/black/splash some mottled and I have 3 frizzle girls. I had a gorgeous mille fleur boy that hatched from eggs from MPC, but didn't have anything to pair him with so I eventually sold him. Didn't want to mess up what I already had. I have tried to eliminate some old faults from the first group I ever got (skin too dark, color leakage, etc) and have some fairly decent ones now. The splashes and the frizzles are great sellers around here, and the blues do pretty well too.

Awe thanks! We'll have to put a pin in that, im not so sure of myself for hatching shipped yet. With our ship a thon i had some bad experiences w tryn to hatch shipped and idk if im ready for that yet. One day i will be. Yest set 13 of my BLRW tho!
 
Absolutely gorgeous out! I worked 5am-1pm today, in the kitchen, and the same tomorrow. Need to take a nap and waste the weather, though--Faith's play (The Outsiders) is tonight at 7, and I don't want to fall asleep before her 15 lines in the second act:gigThat, and I'll be getting home kinda late for getting up at 3:30...
 
Happy chickens! They found some bare ground to scratch and dig in.
