Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Dang all! I am eating too much sugar!

Since we were a week behind the rest of y'all... Easter candy was HALF OFF!

I think I finally got myself to stop eating from my bag. Ooooh, it is good!!!
Rub it in why don't you ? Do you wanna be over weight and pre diabetic like me .Have another chocolate bunny . I only can't breath when I tie my boots .:lau:lauAnd I figured out why hillbilly's go bare foot .:gig:gig

OK Craigs list..... Not fired and glazed but probably more practical for my purposes

I can seal the inside with Acrylic paint .... These are more practical because they come in two parts.... Easier to move.

There is a plus side too. For those 110 degree days a mister on the outside would allow evaporation to keep the terracotta cool.

This is off Craigslist.

some of the others I like as well

Ok cant drive so been thinking.... I love Chimineas and I love Talavera Chimineas.... What about a Talavera Chiminea for a nesting box....

View attachment 1756017

They are hard glazed so sterilizeable.... Room enough for a hen to get comfortable.... In this hot climate the air would pass through the big opening and up and out the Chiminea.... Of course there would have to be an anti roost cap hung over the top....

What do you think? Outside of it being totally impractical.....

Where do you get those? That one is lovely.

I also love the midnight Blue they use for certain tiles. My house has several mosaics to cover window sills. Just broken tiles from the previous owners artwork. The only thing left of him I am afraid that and some window paintings I need to conserve.... He and his wife retired to Mexico... and Each have passed away... I am told by people who knew them.

I think it looks perfect. I don't think you would need an anti-trust cap...as long as the roost was higher than the top
LOL.... I have roosts starting at about three feet and every twelve inches above....

Yet the roosters love to hang out and crap in the water dish.... I can see it.... "Fire in the Hole.... Hen looks up and "Oh Crap....."

After you're all rested up, Sour, could I ask a huge favor? Could you please send some of your broody magic to my coops? Not buying chicks this year, but would love to have a broody hatch some out.

:idunno:frow I was here then gone now here . Never sure where I am at any given moment :idunno Easter Sunday the nanny goat had triplets, just before we were supposed to go to the family dinner .To make matters worse, Me and DW had to leave early Monday At 4 a.m. morning for Illinois . Three hundred miles and be there by 10:30 and back home before to late . 600 miles :th. I didn't sleep much Saturday or Sunday night . AND DW makes A terrible carpool lane dummy. Started yelling at me to slow down two minutes on the interstate :rant So I had to explain to her what a carpool lane dummy's duties are . And Bob Evans don't know how to make sausage gravy atall :sick I didn't fall asleep at the wheel not once .Carpool dummy kept yelling at me and screaming all the way . And all I did was hit the rumble strip a couple of times  And let me tell you Kentucky might as well dig up what's left between the pot holes :he Which ain't much, and maybe the road would be better. On the plus side the truck did ride better on the way back with the compressor loaded on it .And I did get a picture or two. Even got off the interstate to site see a little bit . Really it was a good trip. Had DW laughing when I started telling her she just wasn't cut out to be a carpool lane dummy ,and better find another profession :lau And ifin Phil can I can , Here's my rendition of the inner man View attachment 1756462 course I shrunk a little with age :lau

I love the Pond.

Not only are Alaskan's kids amazing, they are so good looking too. Do they favor your wife or you Al?

'Al' is non gender specific. It is 'Al' and spouse.

Do it!

One of the best posts to date from a 'master poster'. Thanks for the first chuckle of the day. Carpool dummies are just that. Shrinkage - it's a fact :old.
