YES! We have been fasting for 40 days, so we were very excited about the feast.

Youngest made deviled eggs all by himself (he is 10). He made some ducklings and some as chicks.

We also made mac and cheese with pork smoked for 10 hours! (Dang good!) Most of the BBQing was done by kid 3.

We also made Texas Queso...I was feeling nostalgic. So sausage, cream cheese, and rotel.

Oh Yeah .... We also get Wave Set Height and frequency... As well as Rip current warnings. Big surfing town. some of those surf beaches are not for the faint hearted.
They actually have surf wars Dudes duking it out because someone got in to their territory....

Oh and we get Hammer head and Great White warnings as well. Hammer heads are more dangerous. Even though a Great White will take part of you AND the surfboard... They usually spit it out. They prefer Seals.

It kinda blows me away as to what people think offends them these days.
Not sure how we can survive as a society the way we carry on about our feelings.... The Russians and the Chinese are gonna stomp us weaklings to the ground some day.....

I used to make awesome homemade wine..
... Very hi test stuff.
With the greatest flavor.
Hard cider was my favorite....I used to make a real dry cider with dark brown sugar...mmmmm.
I could drink myself under the table.

36* overnight, 4/28-29! So much for global warming. Sitting here in a fleece-lined flannel shirt. Frost warning last night.

Yep. Similar here. Set all kinds of cold records over the weekend and now it's snowing. At least it won't stick. Give me a break!!! I have at least a ton of outside stuff to get done yet before my surgery on the 9th At least I did manage to get the last of the tree limbing and pruning done yesterday. Doubt I will get anything done outside today. Snow is to turn to rain and more or less continue thru Wednesday. Oh well, I guess I'll have to work on the inside spring cleaning instead.
How much do I hate housework? I'd rather muck out an entire barn than do housework.

I have a ton of stuff to do as well.... My surgery is in the morning..... Starting to get scared.... It's not like I've never had any medical things done before..... But can't help thinking....

Tell me.... My son looked up the fines.... almost six hundred for running the light... Three for having an expired license.... And In worse case scenario I could get my license revoked for four years for the insurance.... If i didnt have any..

Hopefully the judge will be lenient and fine me twenty for not having proof of insurance but its still valid....

I am going to have to find out the payment structure... I know they will take payments... But I may chicken out and just pay it and get the whole thing over with.

Don't sweat the small stuff... It's only money.
Even for those of us who don't have a lot of it.
It's still only money.... No one was hurt. Cars still run..... They can't take your birthday away.... So..... Don't sweat it.....
