Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Me too.....View attachment 1758591Can't remember if I posted my new best friends pic yet?
Cool! Im with Room.. we got our very own 6 million dollar man here on the Pond! :highfive:

You have to remember most people when told "walk walk walk" are going to walk to the bathroom and back a couple times and that's it!
They don't know you.. :barnie

It was funny... This morning during pre op.
The nurse kept looking at me.... And said this chart can't be yours.....I said I know I get that.
My doctor told me I was the healthiest unhealthy person he ever saw.
I'm a horse I tell you....a freaking work horse.
And ain't nothing gonna slow me down.....
Yer gonna give us all nervous jitters from worry Phil.. :lau
When I was recovering from my BMT they said walk two miles a day...I did 6.
But please.. If they say 2 this time and you want 6 at least back it down to 4.. :fl:hugs

I was groggy too....
I guess the epidural didn't work.... So they put me all the way under..... Yeah it hurts.
But it is what it is.
They told me I need to take a break... I've been walking all over the dang floor.
But it hurts less that way.... Sitting is painful.
I sent the wife home at 1 p.m...

Too boring here.
I can catch the tiger game at 7....
They have been giving me.
Percocets.... And Dilaudin.... But they don't seem any better than my Morphine.
I hoping that they let me just go home and take my normal pain meds.
Why am I not surprized.... VBG... Listen to the doc... please or at least as much as you can.

I wish I could get a sunny day pic of the lake.
But it's supposed to snow 1-4 " tonight so no such luck.
Evening Phil! Yep. Raining here now, just barely warm enough for it so it's mixed with sleet. I got the tree pruning done over the weekend and was really hoping to get the onions and snowpeas into the ground before I go in for my repair work but it's not looking good. Unfortunately I'll be grounded from lifting anything heavier than my shoes for 6 weeks. Do they not get we aren't city folk? If I had been told that sooner, aka before getting all the insurance stuff cleared, tests done etc., I would have delayed the overhaul til the end of summer and I could have maybe gotten out of shoveling the first snows! :lau
