Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Good update! :clap

 infections scare me.... keep on eye on that.
Thanks Al :hugs yep, as Phil can attest, we of the CML club have to be aware of any bad bacterial stuff. That's why my doc hit me with some really strong doses of the antibiotic "just in case". I just looked this stuff up and it can have some crazy side effects so I might be in for an interesting weekend. I had a couple of good chuckles this pm tho. First from the doc, then the nurse, then the pharmacist. They all SERIOUSLY warned me to not drink any alcohol while taking this or up to 3 days after or I could get violently ill (like a horrible case of the flu ill, or worse). It being the Memorial weekend holiday in Wisconsin (which normally translates as the first booze fest of the summer) they all assumed I was going to party! I caught on quick and just let them express their sincere concern for my senior citizen welfare, waited for them to take a breath, and explained the last time I consumed alcohol was a wine cooler Christmas of 2006. Never was a big drinker anyway and that date was the last time my onc let me have alcohol because of the chemo drugs I took for the CML. (gave me a great "out" when someone offered me something. DH used to hate it when I would look seriously at the person and loudly announce "sorry, I can't, I'm on drugs!" :gigSometimes he just doesn't appreciate my sense of humor) . Guess I could now since I'm in the treatment free trial, but still not interested.

Anyone that needs a laugh, seriously, go to https://www.youtube.com/user/malineka146/videos?pbjreload=10 and dig around. She does pop songs, Disney songs, songs from musicals that everyone's heard of, and other stuff. I'm almost done archive binging (had to stop 'cause my stomach hurts, though at least I didn't die. Though there's a video addressing that, as well...)

I'm jealous!!!! I've always wanted to grow citrus, or any kind of stone fruit. Just not happening where we are located. Because worse we are located in a cold spot within a cold zone, even cold hardy apple varieties struggle to survive on our property. Lots of wild berries because of our acid soil, always fighting to keep the raspberries from coming up too close to the house so it doesn't attract bear. Been hunting for a wild plum to transplant, they make amazing jam, lost my original source when our good friend passed away and we no longer have access to her plum trees.
Phil can probably relate to this. I would kill to be able to grow a PawPaw tree, sigh, where's all this global warming when you want it?
Yeah my yard would be raspberry if I didn't mow it.

Sometimes side effects are almost worse than the symptom the meds are trying to fix! I hope you find some relief!
