Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

So many people told us theyd almost never give a dad custody.

Well im off to sweet dreams of piles of gold being returned to my family!

Thanks to Everyone for your support no matter how its shown, i appreciate every bit of it!
It's not so much like that anymore as it used to be. I suppose it depends on the judge some.
My husband got custody of his kids some 15 or 16 years ago and at that time it was nearly unheard of around here, If that tells you how pis poor the mother was.

And more power to the dads (and step-mommas) for stepping up. Mine didn't send child support and I rarely saw him. I was 17 when he died (he was living in CA at the time with his current wife and kids). I hadn't seen him for 3 years. I give credit to the men who do step up and take responsibility for their kids.
:hugsthat had to be tough.

I've never been a huge fan of albino anything (the eyes are too hard to read) but that baby is THE CUTEST!!! :loveThe giant nose is to die for! Looks like she's got a baby Ewok under there. :wee
It was the best picture showing size difference.... I dont mind red eyes.... does make em light sensitive though.

I had a grandpa and two uncles that more than filled that space. I didn't get in much trouble as a kid because I didn't want to disappoint Grandpa. My uncles and aunts (one set on each side of the family) used to take me places and let me spend the night at their houses quite a bit. The hardest thing with my dad was when he asked me what I wanted for Christmas sometime during that 3-year absence, and I said, "I just want to see you." He told me, "Well, I can't afford to bring D and the girls, so what can I get you?" I'll admit - that was tough. The rest... well, you can't really miss what you don't have, right?

I love it! We do like the feathers.

Every now and then my neighbor's mail and mine gets mixed up, but we're a mile down the road from each other, she has the same first name as me, and our last names both end in "son". Easy to do . No biggie. But this was a package with my Minnesota address delivered to Las Vegas! The first letter of my town is not "L". The zip codes are very different. The state initials are very different. This, to me, is incompetence. Or just plain, "We don't care". I just think someone, somewhere along the line might have noticed that it was way off track.

Got my camper flushed of antifreeze. Will sanitize tomorrow since it has to sit for 4 hours.

I have decided to see if my neighbor kid can come over and help me for a few hours on Friday. That will make life so much less stressful for me. She loves to do stuff here. So much so that when she comes to visit, I can't keep up with finding jobs for her to do!
I just realized that I didn't mention the carrier that lost my flour. It's not the USPS. It was FedEx. The USPS had enough problems of its own. This was not one of them.

Neighbor kid will come spend the day with me on Friday. We'll do stuff around here in the morning, then go buy groceries for Camp, unload them, and then I'll drop her off for Driver's Ed before I come home.

Too much caffeine this evening. Can't sleep. It's 1:30. Tried going to bed once already. I was wide awake. No point in staying there.

Well. . here is what I've done for most of the day. I think I am done with it, but any time I craft anything I never like it right away when it's finished.
I have to walk away a while and come back.
Honest opinions please!!:old
I think it's lovely too.:clap
