Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Fed ex and UPS don't mess up often like that on delivery Bobbi, it's damaged packages usually.

I guess I knew I couldn't trust my family for anything while I am alive I realized if I died no one would care for my kids if I couldn't and since I didn't know how to be a parent from what I saw in my own family I decided not to have kids, and it was a good thing. plus mental illness on mom's sids and cancers on both sides also made me want to pause the idea on that. I never knew my dads side very well, mom made sure of that when I was a kid I asked ro be able to write dad's side and was told I was only related to her side and when I asked some rough questions she told me I was his kid and he wasn't adopted either I realized she didn't want me to know them 1 was a drink I found later out of his siblings but the rest were professionals. of 8 siblings, 4 nurses. 1 business owner, 1 minister, 1 dead, 1 drunk. But her 7 siblings 2 bivocational farmers, 2 miners, 1 fired from teaching for mental illness issues never able to work again, 1 never able to find steady work (rarely fired or quit all either temp jobs, non agency but seasonal like fruit stand or jobs that seem to close if not weeks then months after hiring on almost seemed that they needed help and other locals seemed to not work there unless they lost a job and needed a paycheck until they got something that would last or the stay at home mom would take for a few extra bucks for xmas money or pay a hospital bill and quit when they got enough$) the last was fired from almost every job she had, and worked seasonal work that was supposed to be a possible lead into a permanent job at the company (like a factory that needs summer help for vacations and temporary runs for lined that would not run all year, many would have a chance to become permanent for those permanent help who would quit/ retired/ fired or a new permanent line that would start) but she would be lucky to finish the season, if she did she'd be the first layd off of a fall and last to be called back if called back of a spring.

We won custody and child support today. No one wants to know the story trust me it is very sad and at times its horrible. I stayed up til 2AM last night finishing a book of her skeletons. One small example is I have direct quotes from her "i cant do this! Come get him!!!!!" He was 2 months old. Its been a long hard fought battle but today it finally ceased.
Good job. I accept that having an independent body decide on a minors welfare is necessary but sometimes the decisions a court comes to seem incomprehensible.
I think the same line of thought that some might apply to politicians applies to a lot of the Judiciary, you wouldn't want to give the job to anyone who wants to do it.

That stoplight and it's clones look more like a Christmas tree. I've never been to Seattle but, everything I've read about it sounds like a knockoff of Berkley. :oops:Duh, now I'll get hammered from two sides.
DW said it looked like a Christmas tree, as well. Maybe that's where "Sleepless in Seattle" got it's title. Can you imagine trying to sleep with that thing blinking in the window?

Yup, I've done another for the competition. I've got two more I should finish and two more that I would like to get done one day.
It's strange, it takes more working hacking chapters out of my book to turn into article than it does to write the book stuff. In the book I can just reference chapters and stories while in these articles I have to explain a bit.:hmm
