I just saw the most beautiful rainbow I've ever seen. A double .Just didn't have the right lens to take a really good picture . It was so big and so vivid wish I had a landscape lens and DW ha use up the battery in the phone .View attachment 1807481 View attachment 1807480

Amazing how the colors are always reversed on a double. Like one is just a reflection of the other.

I never even noticed that . DW thought something was wrong. I came running in the house for the camera. The pictures just didn't capture how bright it was. think the smart phone would have taken a better picture . I've always noticed the ones you see at sunrise and sunset have the best curved shape . Kinda like if you get high enough on a mountain close to the ocean, you can see the curve of the planet .

Good morning, Pond Life. Had a good day yesterday. I attended a matinee performance of the play in which the Princess is performing, and then we had dinner at the Pineville Tavern - great old bar with maximum atmosphere, good food at a moderate price - we'll add this place to our list as it's only about a 45 minute drive from home.
