Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

All 3 of our dogs are with in two years in age of each other. Its fun when they're young to have that many littles, but I'm realizing now its going to be one loss after another. :(

Sad truth.

Is 'Meaty' on any medications that may be causing the problems ? Steroids can cause frequent urination problems. And then of course there are my daughter's dogs. :barnie

He’s not on any meds. I’m starting to think maybe it’s just a old pug thing.

I’ve definitely noticed steroids increasing urine frequency in other dogs I’ve had & even in myself.

This is hilarious! :lau I guess he’s never had a puppy or a small child before.

We are going through this backward puppy phase with my senior dog Meaty. Gotta watch him like a hawk, take him out constantly, can’t rely on him to tell us when he needs to go anymore. I’ve never had a senior who had control issues before. I’m seriously considering getting him diapers.

He definitely hasn't, lol. I haven't had a puppy since my childhood dog, but I actually did a lot of his training and being that I'm older than my brother, I remember more of it than my brother does. Plus I just like training animals and seem to have a kind of knack for it. Apparently Vader hasn't had a single indoors accident since I went over there :)

My last dog had incontinence issues as he got to the end of his life. Poor guy would just accidentally poop or pee without realizing it was happening, and then he acted so guilty and upset over it :(

Sucks about your sunroof Orr! I too wondered if someone dropped something on him. I’m glad he wasn’t injured!
Pretty rural where it went out - no overpasses or tall anything. I kind of think someone may have tried to break in and did initial damage that he didn't notice in his rush to leave Sacto. Then the movement from the drive created stress on it and it blew.

My last 3 Cockers made it to 14 years old- they weren't born at the same time though. That meant they had to be put down due to kidney failure, etc. etc. one after another - was too much. The last one passed January '89. Didn't have the heart left to have another dog. And couldn't afford health bills when I had my own as well.

Oh man. .I know what that's like it's awful. My terrier got like that at the end. She'd be asleep on the sofa and wake up wet. ..she would get so upset with herself she would whimper and go put herself in the kennel cage. :(
